<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article examines the emergence, current status and prospects of Russian studies of school resilience. It is proposed that research has reached a frontier that can be overcome using new theoretical and methodological approaches. The ecosystem, sociocultural approach and proactivity (agency) theories are considered as such.
