Leongard, PhD in Pedagogy, Soviet and Russian scientist and teacher, Creator of a particular approach in death pedagogy “Formation and Development of Speech Hearing and Communication Skills of Children with Hearing Impairment” (known as the “Leongard System”). This approach is focused on restoring a fulfilling life for deaf and hearing impaired children and integrating them into the hearing society.

R. A. Kurbatova

Rosa A. Kurbatova, Co-author (together with psychologist N. N. Podd’yakov) of the Soviet “Model Program for Uphringing and Education in Kindergarten” (1988). In the 1970s and 1980s, R. A. Kurbatova headed the Department of Preschool Education of the Ministry of Education of the USSR.
